A Relaxing Escape Along the C&O Canal Trail near Noland's Ferry (Hike #10)

Sometimes, you just need a break from the daily grind. This past weekend, I found the perfect solution: a short and scenic hike along the C&O Canal Trail near Noland's Ferry.

The C&O Canal Trail is a historic gem that stretches for over 180 miles along the Potomac River. The Noland's Ferry area offers a great starting point for shorter hikes, with plenty of parking and easy access to the trail.

I opted for a leisurely afternoon stroll, following the towpath away from the historic ferry site. The crushed stone surface of the trail makes for easy walking, perfect for a casual hike or a bike ride.
